What information do you need to register?
Login to My Hastings
You can register for council tax, non-domestic rates, benefits or the landlord portal. You will need the following:
- Benefits
- National insurance number
- Date of Birth
- Postcode
- Benefits claim number (if you already have a claim
- Council Tax and non -domestic rates
- council tax or non-domestic rate account number (as it is shown on your bill)
- your name (as it is shown on your bill)
- security code shown at the bottom of your bill
- one of the following:
- post code of the address your council tax or non-domestic rate bill relates to
- if you pay by direct debit, the last 3 numbers of the bank account you use
Access all your accounts now in one place! Council tax, non-domestic rates and benefits can now be accessed using the button below.
You need to register and create an account with Citizen Access. Once this has been completed on your first log in, you will be automatically logged in on future visits. This will save you time and you can do most things online without having to wait on the phone for the Community Contact Centre.

Access for Landlords and estate agents to housing benefit accounts that are paid directly to them. if you are a landlord or estate agent, you should have received information on how to access.

- search and check for payments made for every tenant who receives housing benefit payments from us.

- search for any tenant who receives housing benefit payments from us.
